What Happened on WWE Raw? Recap, Results and Highlights – March 24, 2025

WWE Raw delivered a night of wrestling action from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. Here’s a full breakdown of what happened on the show.
WWE Raw Highlights
John Cena Declares War on WWE Fans
The night kicked off with John Cena addressing the WWE Universe in another promo.
Once again fully embracing his new heel persona, Cena berated the fans, calling them “rats in a cage” before vowing to win his 17th world title and retire with it, effectively “ruining wrestling”.

Just like last week, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes interrupted, coming out to confront Cena and daring him to take the title.
Cena, after a tense staredown, walked away to more boos from the crowd.
The two will go face-to-face once again next week on Raw in London, England.
Bron Breakker Retains Intercontinental Championship Amid Judgment Day Chaos
Bron Breakker retained his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Penta after a screwy DQ finish concluded a hard-hitting match.
The two had a nice match but interference from The Judgment Day caused a disqualification.
After the match, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and Carlito attacked Breakker and tried to get Penta to in on the assault.
However, Penta refused and instead attacked The Judgment Day, who were able to fight back and stand tall as the show went off air.

At this point, a Fatal-4-Way involving Breakker, Penta, Balor, and Dominik looks likely for Mania.
CM Punk Sends a Warning to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins
CM Punk came down to the ring to a hot reaction from the Glaswegians and dropped a promo on his WrestleMania opponents, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
Punk teased the favour owed to him by Paul Heyman before referencing the introduction of The Shield back in 2012 and his role in that.
Unfortunately for the Scotland crowd, there was no Reigns or Rollins this week, but all three will be at SmackDown on Friday for the contract g.

What Else Happened on Raw?
Elsewhere on the show, Adam Pearce revealed that Rhea Ripley’s signature for her WrestleMania match wasn’t valid, but she was owed a rematch, leading to an explosive argument between Ripley, Iyo Sky, and Bianca Belair.
Pearce announced that Ripley would get her Women’s World Championship rematch next week, and the winner would go on to face Belair at WrestleMania 41.

He would also later reveal that Belair will be the special guest referee for the match next week in London.
Meanwhile, Lyra Valkyria defeated Raquel Rodriguez to retain the Women’s Intercontinental Title, despite interference from Liv Morgan.
The tag champs delivered a beatdown on Lyra after the match before Bayley came down to make the save, teasing a potential tag title match involving the four down the line.
Also, The Usos reunited to defeat A-Town Down Under in a solid tag match after Jey’s mystery partner was revealed to not be Joe Hendry but his brother, Jimmy.
Gunther attacked Jey after the match, taking advantage of a slip from Jey – possibly playing on the botched dive from last week.

And finally, El Grande Americano (who is definitely not Chad Gable) went hold-for-hold with Dragon Lee in a great little TV match that had everything, including a sneaky move to finish it off when Americano pulled Lee’s mask off.
