Watch the highlights from Wolves’ 2-0 win over Manchester United on Boxing Day under new manager Vitor Pereira.

Wolves record back-to-back wins under their new boss following a toothless Manchester United display.

Bruno Fernandes’ red card early in the second half set the tone for the rest of the match and ultimately did the damage for Ruben Amorim’s side.

Matheus Cunha was rewarded for his exceptional performance when he scored directly from a corner kick – the second time such a goal has gone against United in three games.

The Brazilian then capped off his dazzling display when he laid it on a plate for Hwang Hee-chan in injury time to secure a deserved three points.

The win for Wolves means they move out of the relegation zone ahead of Leicester’s game against Liverpool later that night.

Meanwhile, Amorim’s United side drop to 14th following West Ham’s victory at Southampton, after a third straight defeat across all competitions.

The home side generated an xG of 0.87, while the Red Devils lacked cutting edge in front of goal with an xG of just 0.35.

Wolves travel to Tottenham next – another side struggling to find form following back-to-back defeats themselves.

As for Manchester United, they host Newcastle next in their final game of 2024.
