Since moving to Real Madrid from Brazilian side Flamengo, Vinicius Jr. has established himself as one of the best players in the business. In the last seven years, the jet-heeled winger has helped Los Blancos to two UEFA Champions League trophies, three La Liga titles, and two FIFA Club World Cups, among other honours. Vinicius Jr. is currently the t-highest earner in the Spanish capital at €15 million (£12.5 million)-a-year — level with newcomer Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe, however, received a mega €40 million (£33.3 million) g bonus when he ed Madrid as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain.

What Has Vinicius Jr. Said About His Contract Situation?

Although there has been a lot of speculation about his future, Vinicius Jr. has maintained his desire to continue with Real Madrid.

Discussing his future ahead of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash with Atletico Madrid on 4th March, he said:

I’m very calm because I have a contract until 2027 and let’s hope we can renew my contract as soon as possible.

I’m happy here, playing with the best players in the world, the best coach, the best president [Florentino Perez], where everyone loves me. I couldn’t be anywhere better than here.”
