U.S. Open Oakmont Ticket Prices: Comparison with 2024 Open and 2025 Majors

Comparison with U.S. Open 2024 Ticket Prices

In the 2024 U.S. Open, Gallery tickets ranged between £126-£130 on Thursday, £154-£167 on Friday, £174-£177 on Saturday, and £127-£167 on Sunday. The weeklong Trophy Club package went for around £1,110.

Except for on Saturday, the daily Gallery ticket prices for 2025 Oakmont have a similar starting range to 2024 at Pinehurst for the Championship rounds. Practice rounds ticket prices, meanwhile, are comparable.

Comparison with Other 2025 Golf Majors

Masters

Tickets for The Masters at Augusta National had a £74 face value for Practice Rounds and about £104 for the tournament days. Of course, prices were considerably higher in the secondary market, with Practice Round tickets costing even over £740 and Tournament tickets between £1480 and £2220.

Tickets for the U.S. Open have a higher face value than the Masters. However, tickets are considerably cheaper in the secondary market.

PGA Championship

Practice Rounds were between £15 and £56+, while Championship Rounds tickets varied from £56 to £185+. Weekly es were around £1480 for a well-appointed package.

Summary of How U.S. Open Pricing Compares:

  • More expensive than the PGA Championship for general championship day access on face value
  • Significantly less expensive than The Masters on the secondary market. Face value for The Masters is lower, but availability is the key issue
  • Practice round access for the U.S. Open is relatively comparable to other majors (excluding the extreme secondary market for the Masters practice rounds)
