Former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic is being touted as a potential Erik Ten Hag replacement by Manchester United bosses as pressure continues to mount on the Dutchman.

Edin Terzic Could Replace Erik Ten Hag At Old Trafford

With speculation surrounding Manchester United regarding a potential replacement.

Terzic is a surprising name high up on that list after he took Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final last season before leaving the club less than two weeks later.

The German manager enjoyed a strong run to the final of Europe’s elite competition, beating Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 on aggregate in the semi-final. They went on to lose 2-0 to Real Madrid in the final at Wembley.

Terzic, 41, completed his coaching badges in England becoming friends withGareth Southgate and Thomas Tuchel also on their radar.

This wouldn’t be Terzic’s first job in England though. He worked alongside Slaven Bilic as his assistant at West Ham from 2015-2017. He eventually graduated from the FA’s coaching course alongside former United players Nicky Butt and Nemanja Vidic in 2018.

This Is United’s Worst Ever Start To A Season

Ten Hag is under serious pressure at Old Trafford, with the side sitting 14th in the Premier League winning just twice during their opening seven games. The Red Devils are also struggling in the Europa League scrounging two draws from as many games so far.

The 54-year-old has broken his own record set last season for United’s worst start to a league campaign. Could Edin Terzic be the man to save the 20-time champions?
