Tottenham saw off Manchester United in the 2025 Europa League Final 1-0, and in the process have not only won their first trophy for 17 years – but have also booked their place in the UEFA Super Cup.

But who will they face in the Super Cup – when and where?

With the UEFA Super Cup contested between the winners of the Europa League and the Champions League – this means Spurs will play either Inter or PSG, who face-off in the UCL Final on Saturday 31st May.

Where Is The UEFA Super Cup 2025 Being Played?

The UEFA Super Cup 2025 will be hosted at the Stadio Friuili Stadium in Italy – the home of Serie A football side Udinese, with the match kick-off time 21:00 CET, or 20:00 if watching in the UK.

This venue will the 13th different stadium to host the UEFA Super Cup since it was moved from its long-term Monaco home in 2013.

Last year the UEFA Super Cup was played at the Stadion Narodwy, Warsaw, Poland – with Real Madrid lifting the trophy.

Tottenham will face either PSG or Inter – who will play in the Champions League Final on Saturday 31st May.

Spurs have now won the UEFA Cup or Europa League three times – with only Sevilla winning more (7).

However, this will be the first time Tottenham have featured in the UEFA Super Cup as it started after their first UEFA Cup win in 1972 and wasn’t held in 1985.

In total, ten English teams have won the Super Cup.

With the most recent being Manchester City in 2023.

The 2024 UEFA Super Cup was contested between Real Madrid and Atalanta. Madrid won 2-0 in Poland thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappé and Federico Valverde.

It was the sixth time Real Madrid won the UEFA Super Cup and are now the winning-most team in the game. With Barcelona and AC Milan next best on five wins.
