Turki Alalshikh LIED about Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois breaking British attendance record

The official attendance from Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois has revealed Turki Alalshikh LIED about the event breaking the British record.
A boxing fan took the matter into his own hands to find out the truth about His Excellency Turki Alalshikh and Riyadh Season’s claims that the fight was set for a post-war record attendance at a boxing event in the United Kingdom.
Alalshikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, posted on X that 96,000 tickets had been sold – a claim which Matchroom CEO Eddie Hearn backed up at a press conference.
“It’s the record; it’s 96,000, I think, at a time that British boxing needs a shot in the arm,” Hearn said.
The figure was set to trump the previous record of 94,000 when Tyson Fury stopped Dillian Whyte in April 2022 but after some digging, it has been exposed that all was not as it seemed.

Twitter @CurtP_ got in with Brent Borough Council, who are the local authority for the borough of Brent in Greater London and based on Olympic (Wembley) Way.
In an email response, the council confirmed that the official attendance through the Wembley turnstiles for Joshua vs Dubois was in fact 85,466 – over 10,000 short of Riyadh Season’s record-breaking claims.
The official attendance for Joshua Dubois was 85,466.
Confirmed to me today by Brent Bourough Council who receive the official turnstile count for Wembley events.
It was not the highest attended Wembley event ever – a complete fabrication by Riyadh Season and Turki Alalshikh. pic.twitter.com/BmGkYEoxx6

According to the best boxing betting sites, Dubois is the 8/15 favourite to do the double over Joshua whenever they face off in a rematch – with the latter priced at 6/4 to avenge his heartbreaking defeat.
