The 2025 Masters tee times have been officially confirmed, with some very interesting groups for Round 1 on Thursday on the opening day of action at Augusta National Golf Club.

The Masters Tee Times: Defending Champion Scottie Scheffler Grouped With Justin Thomas & Amateur Jose Luis Ballester

Tee times for the opening round of The Masters have been confirmed, with all of the action getting underway on Thursday from Augusta National Golf Club.

The first group head out at 12:40pm (GMT), with the last group out in Thursday evening at 6:45pm (GMT). In total there are 32 groups heading out for Round 1 of The Masters in what is the first 18 holes of major championship competition of the year.

All of the biggest and best names in world golf are in action this week at Augusta, including defending champion Scottie Scheffler.

The two-time Masters champion begins his defence of the Green Jacket at 3:15pm (GMT) on Thursday afternoon. He has been paired alongside fellow two-time major champion Justin Thomas and amateur star Jose Luis Ballester.

Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, Ludvig Aberg, Tommy Fleetwood, Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth, Xander Schauffele, Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland are just some of the other names in the 95 player field at The Masters this week.

The 50 players (including ties) who make Friday’s cut at Augusta will be in with a chance of winning a large portion of the $20million Masters prize money on offer this week.

Interesting Feature Groups At 2025 Masters Including McIlroy, Aberg & Bhatia Three-Ball

There are some interesting feature groups on Thursday at the 2025 Masters, with all 32 groups teeing off from the no.1 tee rather than a two-tee start.

The best golf betting sites have listed four-time major champion Rory McIlroy as second favourite behind Scheffler to win his first Masters and complete the career Grand Slam. McIlroy begins his campaign with a 6:12pm (GMT) tee time for Round 1 on Thursday.

The Northern Irishman has been grouped with fellow pre-tournament favourite and Ryder Cup teammate Ludvig Aberg, as well as American Akshay Bhatia.

Xander Schauffele, who won two majors last year, tees off at 6:01pm (GMT) in a group with Viktor Hovland and past champion Adam Scott.

Another of the pre-tournament favourites Collin Morikawa has been grouped with LIV star Joaquin Niemann and popular Aussie Min Woo Lee for their opening round. That three-ball gets underway at 2:47pm (GMT).

Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka, Russell Henley and Sungjae Im is another intriguing three-ball for Rounds 1 & 2 of the 2025 Masters. They tee off at 5:50pm (GMT) on Thursday.

Past champion Hideki Matsuyama begins his campaign with a 6:23pm (GMT) start on Thursday alongisde Bryson DeChambeau and Shane Lowry. 2023 champion Jon Rahm has been grouped with Wyndham Clark and Tommy Fleetwood for the first two rounds at Augusta.
