Spanish Grand Prix 2025: New Flexi-Wing Regulations Incoming
In January, the FIA announced that tighter flexibility tests on the front wing will come into play from the Spanish GP. From this round, tolerance on the flexible bodywork will reduce from 15mm to 10mm on the front wing and the flap.
Since deg the front wing is more complicated than the rear wing, the FIA gave teams a four-month leeway to get their bodywork in shape.
There are whispers around the paddock that F1 Constructors’ Championship leaders McLaren will not be as dominant after the flexi-wing change in Barcelona, but we will not get a definite answer before Qualifying hour begins on Saturday.
