The retired sports star appears to be enjoying her time since ending a professional career that spanned from October 1995 to September 2022.

During this time, Williams generated around $95 million in prize money, racking up 73 career singles titles and 23 career doubles titles.

Recently, the 43-year-old caused a viral stir on social media as she appeared in Kendrick Lamar’s half-time show at Super Bowl LIX.

Now, Williams was spotted attending another sporting event by going to watch Inter Miami take on New York City FC at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

Inter Miami is a unique side, as it is co-owned by former Manchester United and England star, David Beckham.

The former Real Madrid player handed Serena Williams and her daughter a gift, personalising an Inter Miami top for the tennis star.

The two posed for a photo online and Serena Williams posted her own set of images from the match to Instagram with the caption: “Why do athletes do the same thing? Oh yeah and about last night @davidbeckham @olympiaohanian @paulpogba”

This also revealed that 2018 World Cup winner, Paul Pogba, was in attendance as the Frenchman nears a return from football following a suspension for doping.

The former Manchester United midfielder has been linked with a move to the MLS, with a move to a major club in Europe seemingly unlikely.

The American tennis star would not have been disappointed with her experience at the Inter Miami match, as it ended in a 2-2 draw and saw a red card after just 23 minutes.

Lionel Messi also provided an assist for Inter Miami’s eventual equaliser, as the Argentinian continues to be the star man in Miami for David Beckham.
