Sean Brady has launched some fiery comments towards Leon Edwards after defeating him at UFC London.

Brady defeated the former welterweight champion Edwards in the main event with a dominant fourth-round submission victory.

Since the fight, Brady has not held back at blasting his opponent, declaring, “Personally, f*** Leon,” in a ionate rant on The Ariel Helwani Show.

Brady vs Edwards Bad Blood

Leading up to UFC London, Brady and Edwards engaged in a seemingly normal staredown at the O2 Arena.

However, things quickly took a turn when Edwards made remarks about Brady’s height.

“It literally took five seconds,” Brady recalled. “He walked up to me, and he was asking about my height, being a d*** head.

“From that point on, I knew I wasn’t touching this dude’s hand.”

Despite the pre-fight drama, Brady stayed composed during the bout.

After a competitive opening round, the Philadelphia native relied on his superior wrestling skills to control Edwards.

The fight ended in the fourth round with Brady securing a guillotine choke, marking the first time Edwards had been finished in his professional career.

Post-Fight Fallout: “F*** Him and His Whole Team”

Brady didn’t mince words when reflecting on his post-fight interactions with Edwards.

“That made it even worse,” Brady said. “I tried to be respectful, but he just brushed me off. Even his whole team was corny as s***.”

Brady took to Instagram to mock Edwards, referencing the infamous “headshot, dead” quote from Edwards’ UFC 278 win over Kamaru Usman.

“Now I’m going to make fun of you,” Brady declared. “You’re a f***ing a**hole. Maybe Belal [Muhammad] was right about him.”

Title Shot Aspirations: Is Brady Next in Line?

With a victory over a former champion, Brady now has his sights set on a welterweight title shot.

However, top contender Shavkat Rakhmonov remains a potential roadblock. While Rakhmonov was initially slated to face Muhammad for the belt, injuries led to Jack Della Maddalena stepping in for the title opportunity at UFC 315.

Brady believes his resume speaks for itself.

“If you look at the last guys I beat versus the last guys Shavkat beat, I think my résumé is more impressive,” Brady argued.

“Beating Gilbert Burns, then Leon Edwards – versus ‘Wonderboy’ [Stephen Thompson] and Ian [Machado] Garry in very not-great fights.”

What’s Next for Sean Brady?

If Brady doesn’t get the next title shot, he is open to another fight – but not against lower-ranked opponents like Ian Machado Garry.

“Yeah, no,” Brady said dismissively. “Garry lost his fight. What are you talking about? You came in second place. You don’t get rewarded for that.”

Instead, Brady has his eyes on the welterweight championship, whether that means facing Muhammad, Della Maddalena, or a rematch with Rakhmonov.

Regardless of the outcome, one thing is clear – Sean Brady has arrived as a serious contender in the UFC’s stacked welterweight division.
