Ronnie O’Sullivan Gives Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury Rematch Prediction

Ronnie O’Sullivan is of course a name synonymous with snooker, but the Englishman is a huge fan of his boxing too.

O’Sullivan is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, snooker player of all time, winning countless tournaments all around the world. Of late, the 49-year-old has also featured in some Riyadh Season snooker events in Saudi Arabia, as well as being sponsored by them too.

Given his strong relationship with Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury fight week.

Ronnie O’Sullivan has itted that he and Tyson Fury have formed a friendship after meeting a few years back, so it comes as no surprise to learn that he is backing his fellow Brit to do the business on Saturday night.

Oleksandr Usyk won the first fight via split decision, but it was a super close fight and a rematch is most definitely needed. This time however, O’Sullivan feels ‘The Gypsy King’ has taken his camp more seriously and is in a better frame of mind to right the wrongs of May.

Time will tell how the Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury rematch goes this weekend. Boxing fans will be hoping it lives up to the hype in what is a Christmas cracker just days before Christmas and the New Year.

O’Sullivan: ‘I’m Going For Tyson In This One’

With Ronnie O’Sullivan currently competing in a snooker tournament in Saudi Arabia, he is using his downtime to get involved with Saturday’s heavyweight rematch.

Speaking in Riyadh during the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk rematch. ‘The Rocket’ is siding with his fellow countryman, backing ‘The Gypsy King’ to get the job done via knockout or points:

“I’m a Fury man, but massive respect to Usyk as well. I just think maybe Tyson has had a better training camp this time, which could make all the difference. It goes 1-1 and then we have the trilogy.

“I think it will go at least 10 rounds and if there’s a knockout, I’ll go for Fury. If it goes to points, I’ll go for a Fury points win too,” concluded the seven-time World Snooker Championship winner.

His Excellency Turki Alalshikh will be hoping the rematch lives up to the hype and billing it has received, with boxing fans in for a treat just a few days before Christmas. Lets hope the rematch lives up to it’s billing and fans get to witness an iconic night of boxing on Saturday.

Oleksandr Usyk goes into the rematch with Tyson Fury as the favourite with the best boxing betting sites in the UK. This comes as no surprise given the Ukrainian won the first fight and has never lost inside the professional ring.
