Here’s our Real Madrid Vs AC Milan preview, prediction, team News and predicted lineups ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid Vs AC Milan Preview

Madrid will have had plenty of time to rest and prepare for this fixture, with Saturday’s La Liga match against Valencia postponed due to the catastrophic flooding in the region.

Real have not played since their disastrous defeat in El Clasico, where they lost 4-0 to Barcelona.

But while the league is not going the way of Carlo Ancelotti’s men, they have a great chance to take another step towards knockout qualification in the Champions League this week.

Real beat Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund, but lost in Lille. They are currently on six points and need a victory to move into the automatic qualification places.

Beating Milan and Osasuna in their next two European fixtures will get them back on track. But Milan will be no pushovers.

The Italian side have not faced Madrid since the 2010/11 Champions League group stage. In their 15 previous meetings, the two sides have won six apiece.

So far in Europe, Milan have beaten Club Brugge after losing to Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen. With just three points from their first three matches, the Rossoneri are in desperate need of a victory in Madrid.

Their domestic season has also started poorly, having won just five from their first ten and currently sitting seventh in the table, eight points below leaders Napoli.

Real Madrid Vs AC Milan Team News

Antonio Rudiger is expected to be fit for the arrival of Milan at the Bernabeu. The German defender looks to have shaken off a knee injury, which will be a big boost for Carlo Ancelotti.

However, Madrid are still without Dani Carvajal, Thibaut Courtois, Rodrygo and David Alaba for tomorrow night’s game.

Having not played since the Barcelona defeat, Madrid’s squad will be fresh. We can therefore expect Ancelotti to pick his strongest possible side for the crucial European fixture.

Fresh from his Ballon d’Or disappointment, Vinicius Junior should partner Kylian Mbappe up top. Midfield sees more of a dilemma, with Luka Modric and Aurelien Tchouameni both vying for a starting role alongside Eduardo Camavinga.

Milan have their own injury struggles. All of Luka Jovic, Matteo Gabbia, Ismael Bennacer and Alessandro Florenzi will be missing on Tuesday.

However, Tammy Abraham returned to the side at the weekend and will be available against Madrid.

Another former Chelsea man, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, is expected to return to the side, along with Emerson Royal and Rafael Leao.

Alvaro Morata should start up top against his former club.

Real Madrid Vs AC Milan Predicted Lineups

Real Madrid Lineup (4-3-1-2):

Lunin; Vazquez, Militao, Rudiger, Mendy; Valverde, Camavinga, Modric; Bellingham; Vinicius, Mbappe

AC Milan Lineup (4-3-3):

Maignan; Royal, Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez; Loftus-Cheek, Fofana, Reijnders; Pulisic, Morata, Leao

Real Madrid Vs AC Milan Prediction

While Milan have plenty of quality and will pose a threat, Madrid are reigning European champions for a reason.

We expect Milan to get on the score sheet, but can’t see them beating Real Madrid away from home. For that reason, we predict Carlo Ancelotti’s side to come away with three points.

Prediction: Real Madrid 1-2 AC Milan
