With Bayern Munich g a new contract with Alphonso Davies, there are not many proven left-backs on the market. Calafiori can not only man the left-back position but also serve as a backup centre-back behind Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba, and Eder Militao.
Of course, Arsenal are well aware of the position Calafiori holds and will not let him go without a fight. According to Fichajes.net, Calafiori’s performances have raised his value, and Madrid could have to pay a sizable fee to prize him away from London. Los Merengues see Calafiori as a strong option, but they are unwilling to pay a lofty price for him. They do not want to jeopardize their future by paying a big fee for the Italian.
Multiple factors will determine whether the European champions officially make a move for him. Arsenal have to be willing to negotiate for him, while the player must also react positively to the potential transfer.
