Tottenham Defender Radu Dragusin Set To Undergo Surgery After Suffering ACL Tear

The latest Radu Dragusin injury update has confirmed that the Tottenham defender will undergo surgery after suffering an ACL tear in his right knee.
Dragusin suffered the season-ending blow during Spurs’ 3-0 UEFA Europa League victory over Elfsborg on January 30. It’s extremely unlikely the 23-year-old will feature again this campaign.
The Romanian international’s diagnosis and suspected lengthy spell on the sidelines comes as a huge concern to under-fire boss Ange Postecoglou.
Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie are already in the treatment room for the long-term but the Aussie did manage to relieve some of the defensive injury woes he is currently experiencing.
Kevin Danso ed from Lens on the eve of the January transfer deadline day window. The Austrian moves to north London on loan but the Lilywhites have an obligation to buy at the end of the campaign.
A huge £70m offer for Crystal Palace and England star Marc Guehi was turned down on Monday. However, Micky van de Ven is back after his injury troubles.

Radu Dragusin Injury Update Adds To Tottenham’s Woes
Posting on the club’s official X (formerly Twitter) page, Tottenham confirmed that Radu Dragusin would need to go under the knife for his ACL injury.
“We can confirm that Radu Dragusin will undergo surgery for an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury to his right knee. Radu will be assessed by our medical team to determine when he can return to training.”
As it stands, only Kevin Danso, Micky van de Ven and Archie Gray are Spurs’ only recognised centre-backs. Ben Davies can also fill in when required.
Dragusin’s injury update couldn’t have come at a worst time for the north Londoners. On Thursday, they take on Liverpool in the EFL Cup semi-final 2nd leg.
Then the Lilywhites take on Aston Villa in the FA Cup 4th round at Villa Park. Furthermore, both Manchester sides come to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the month is over.
