ACCIDENTAL LEGEND (system – Uttoxeter winners, next time out)

Uttoxeter tends to attract competitive fields and form from this venue has held up win recent years. Since the beginning of 2023, backing all winners at the Staffordshire track on their next start would have found 82 winners from 279 bets (29.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £50.16 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 64.82, A/E = 1.26).

Those who returned to Uttoxeter in a bid to follow-up were 19 from 45 (or 42.2%) for a profit of £22.95. ACCIDENTAL LEGEND won well over course and distance on heavy ground in April when we last saw him and he boasts an unbeaten course record here in three starts. Any runner with multiple successes at any track commands respect.

FAST FRED (system – Clifford Lee, handicaps, last time out winners)

Jockey Clifford Lee has a fine record in handicaps when riding a last time out winner, scoring on 71 of the 313 qualifiers (22.7% strike-rate) for a profit of £88.20 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 55.99, A/E = 1.27).
