PSG and Inter Milan meet at Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena for the 2024-25 Champions League final on Saturday. The Parisians are looking to win the coveted trophy for the first time in history, while I Nerazzurri are after their fourth title.

The AI Champions League final prediction expects a stalemate come the full-time whistle and for the match to go the distance.

Ahead of the action, we at SportsCasting have the latest PSG vs Inter team news and predicted lineups. So read on as we unveil the probable starting XI’s, as well as both sides’ injury concerns heading into the tie.

PSG Team News: Injuries and Suspensions

Luis Enrique has been rather fortunate this term, as he has had to deal with very few injuries.

Since the end of January, only Marquinhos, Arnau Tenas, Kang-in Lee, Willian Pacho and Ousmane Dembele have spent enforced time on the sidelines. These were all minor injury and illness concerns.

Heading into the final, the only absentee looks to be central defender Presnel Kimpembe. The international is suffering with a foot injury, but regardless, he would’ve been unlikely to start in the final anyway.

Other than that, it looks to be a clean bill of health for the Parisians ahead of their trip to Munich. There are no concerns in of suspensions within Enrique’s squad heading into the match either.

PSG Predicted Lineup

The biggest question surrounding PSG’s lineup for the final is, who will start in attack?

Dembele, who is fully fit after returning from a hamstring injury at the start of the month, will likely lead the line. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is almost certain to him in the lineup, occupying his favoured left-hand side.

As for the right-wing position, Desire Doue is expected to take up that role, having started both legs in the semi-finals against Arsenal. Bradley Barcola, Goncalo Ramos, Lee and Ibrahim Baye are also attacking options.

Elsewhere, the Parisians will likely remain unchanged from their previous Champions League lineups.

This should see the fluid midfield trio of Joao Neves, Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz fielded from the off. Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho and Nuno Mendes should form the back line, with Italy’s Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal.

PSG Predicted Lineup (4-3-3):

Donnarumma (GK)

Hakimi, Marquinhos (C), Pacho, Mendes

Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz

Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia

Inter Milan Team News: Injuries and Suspensions

Simone Inzaghi, unlike Enrique, has several injury concerns heading into the Champions League final.

One of those is German central defender Yann Bisseck, who is doubtful due to a knee injury. The 24-year-old was forced off during the win over Como last time out, but reports suggest that he’ll likely recover in time for kick-off.

Benjamin Pavard (ankle) and Piotr Zielinski (calf) are also doubts, but they too have the potential to recover in time for a place in the squad. Pavard has missed I Nerazzurri‘s last four games, while Zielinski missed the trip to Como.

Elsewhere, the only confirmed absentee is 20-year-old attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni. The Argentine suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) last October and is currently on the road to recovery.

Thankfully for Inzaghi and his coaching staff, there are no suspensions within the Inter squad.

Inter Milan Predicted Lineup

The Serie A runners-up have made very few changes to their lineup throughout this year’s Champions League campaign. Inzaghi typically opts for a 3-5-2 formation, and we expect no different here.

Yann Sommer will start in between the sticks. In front of him, the preferred three would be Bisseck, sco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni. However, with Bisseck marked as a doubt, Stefan de Vrij could start in his place.

Denzel Dumfries, who scored two and assisted three over two legs against Barcelona in the semi-finals, is likely to operate on the right flank, while the ever-impressive Federico Dimarco should start on the left.

Inter’s probable midfield trio is Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Leading the line, club captain and top scorer Lautaro Martinez is a certain starter. The Argentine has 22 goals across all competitions this term, and he is likely to be ed in attack by Marcus Thuram.

Mehdi Taremi and Marko Arnautovic are also attacking options but will likely start on the bench.

Inter Predicted Lineup: (3-5-2):

Sommer (GK)

De Vrij, Acerbi, Bastoni

Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco

 Thuram, Martinez (C)
