The 2025 PDC Premier League Darts enters its seventh night on Thursday 20th March, as the tournament travels to Cardiff. us for a detailed preview ahead of the Premier League on Thursday night, including start times, predictions and more.

PDC Premier League Darts Night 7 Preview 1kt1q

Luke Littler currently sits top of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts table, having won both Night 2 and Night 5 of this year’s BetMGM Premier League.

Just two points behind ‘The Nuke’ is Luke Humphries, who himself has also won two individual night’s so far in this Premier League Darts campaign.

The only other winner of an individual night so far is of course Gerwyn Price, who won in Dublin on Night 3 and last week on Night 6 in Nottingham too.

They are three top players in the Premier League standings right now, with Michael van Gerwen currently the other player making up the Top 4.

Rob Cross and Nathan Aspinall are fifth and sixth, both on eight points, with Chris Dobey in seventh on three points and Stephen Bunting rock bottom with no points at all.

The Luke Littler to reign supreme in Cardiff this week, but he could potentially have to come through Gerwyn Price in the semi-final in his home town of Cardiff.

‘The Iceman’ would undoubtedly be a popular winner this week in Cardiff, with the Welshman also in-form and currently on a six match unbeaten run against Littler. But first he must get through his quarter-final match with Rob Cross.

The first game of the evening sees the bottom two lock horns as Chris Dobey and Stephen Bunting open up the night in the Welsh capital. Luke Humphries vs Michael van Gerwen is perhaps the pick of the quarter-final matches as they face-off in the second game of the evening.

What a night of tungsten action we are in for on Night 6 of the 2025 Premier League Darts in Cardiff. Will we see any nine-dart finish?

PDC Premier League Darts Night 7 Predictions 25h5o

Chris Dobey vs Stephen Bunting (19:10) 4a5ad

It’s fair to say that both Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey are struggling with their darts at the minute. ‘The Bullet’ is rock bottom of the Premier League and hasn’t got a single win to his name so far, with Dobey just a place above in seventh on three points.

That being said, ‘The Bullet’ can feel hard done by after being on the receiving end of some magical performances from his opponents of late. Bunting has actually averaged 100+ in three of the last four weeks, but has still been defeated.

That could change on Thursday night against ‘Hollywood’, who himself isn’t enjoying himself on the dartboard right now. Expect this to be a relatively cagey affair between the two bottom players in the 2025 Premier League Darts standings.

Prediction: Chris Dobey 3-6 Stephen Bunting 5h173w

Luke Humphries vs Michael van Gerwen (19:40) 3r161h

Luke Humphries was knocked off top spot last week with Luke Littler reaching the final in Nottingham, but will be coming to Cardiff in search of a third individual night win with the aim of climbing back to the top of the pile.

Standing in his way is Michael van Gerwen, who has been out of sorts of late and nowhere near the levels we expect to see from the ‘Green Machine’.

‘Coolhand’ oozes class and will be confident of beating van Gerwen here. The Englishman has won nine of the last ten head-to-head meetings between the pair, and we fully expect that to be 10 wins in the last 11 meetings after their quarter-final affair.

The best sports betting apps are favouring Humphries to win this one, and it’s hard to disagree. That being said, write of ‘MVG’ at your peril.

Prediction: Luke Humphries 6-3 Michael van Gerwen 1f6041

Luke Littler vs Nathan Aspinall (20:10) 595m57

The third match on Night 7 of the Premier League Darts in Cardiff sees top of the table and reigning world champion Nathan Aspinall in a repeat of the Night 5 final a fortnight ago.

‘The Nuke’ won that meeting 6-3, and will be hard to stop once again with ‘The Asp’ not in his best for either. The best UK online bookmakers can’t see past a comfortable Littler win here, and we tend to be in total agreement.

Aspinall needs a win here to keep his hopes of a Top 4 spot in tact, but is firmly up against it against the world number two and most in-form player in world darts right now.

It’s hard to look past ‘The Nuke’ here, who has also won 10 of their 11 historic meetings to this point. An Aspinall win would be a shock in most peoples eyes.

Prediction: Luke Littler 6-2 Nathan Aspinall 18725q

Gerwyn Price vs Rob Cross (20:40) 275c5d

Last week’s winner in Nottingham is back in his home city of Cardiff this week, looking to go back-to-back with successive night wins in the 2025 Premier League Darts.

Gerwyn Price takes on Rob Cross in the final quarter-final match of the evening in what is actually their first meeting of this Premier League campaign.

Cross has been superb in spells this year, with ‘The Iceman’ also looking back to somewhere near his best. This could be a close affair and could even go all the way to a deciding 11th leg.

‘Voltage’ has beaten the Welshman in four of their last six head-to-head meetings, but Price will be fired up and determined to win in his hometown of Cardiff this Thursday night. That could be the best game of the night for sure!

Prediction: Gerwyn Price 6-4 Rob Cross 2u101e

Night 7 of the 2025 PDC Premier League Darts is sure to be another entertaining one. But who will go on to be crowned champion in Cardiff?

Our prediction is that Gerwyn Price will reign supreme this week, going back-to-back in his hometown after last week’s win in Nottingham too.
