The Premier League Darts campaign draws to a close at the O2 Arena in London on Thursday, with Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price taking part in this year’s play-offs.
PDC Premier League Darts Play-Offs Preview
This year’s PDC Darts Premier League reaches its conclusion in the English capital on Thursday night, with top four finishers Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price battling it out for the title.
Defending champion Littler, who is also the reigning PDC World Champion, finished top of the table after 16 league stage nights, followed by Humphries in second, Aspinall in third and Price in fourth.
‘The Nuke’ claimed a record-extending sixth nightly victory of the season in Sheffield last week, overcoming Stephen Bunting and Aspinall in the quarter and semi-finals, before beating ‘Cool Hand’ 6-3 in the final.
The 18-year-old will kickstart the proceedings on finals night against ‘The Iceman’ in the opening semi-final at around 19:15 BST, followed by Humphries vs ‘The Asp’. Both winners will then face off in the final.
If both Lukes are victorious in their respective semi-finals, we will see a repeat of the 2024 Premier League final. It comes just a few weeks before both Littler and Humphries will represent England at the 2025 World Cup of Darts.
