UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett is supremely confident that he will defeat Michael Chandler in their co-main event bout at UFC 314. ‘The Baddy’ thinks the fight “will be over pretty quickly”, insisting “I’ll submit him”.

Paddy Pimblett Vows To Submit Michael Chandler At UFC 314

UFC, but faces another big step up in his next contest.

‘The Baddy’ is set to take on former UFC Lightweight Title challenger Alexander Volkanovski vs Diego Lopes for the UFC Featherweight Title at UFC 314.

Heading into the contest, the best UFC betting sites cannot split the pair. Pimblett is perhaps a marginal favourite, but this is as close to a 50/50 contest as you are likely to see on paper.

That being said, Paddy Pimblett is supremely confident of getting the job done at UFC 314. Not only is the 30-year-old confident he will beat Chandler, but he is confident that he will get him out of there inside the schedule distance too.

‘The Baddy’ has vowed to submit Chandler in their compelling lightweight clash on April 12, insisting that he will put in a career-best performance. Not only that, but Pimblett has vowed to finish the fight early within two rounds as well.

That would be an incredible statement from the 155-pound contender, who is looking to shoot up the UFC lightweight rankings with another win here in the UFC 314 co-main event.

Paddy Pimblett: ‘It Will Be Over Pretty Quickly’

It’s fair to say that Paddy Pimblett has never been short of confidence. That remains the same as he embarks on the toughest fight of his career at UFC 314.

‘The Baddy’ faces former UFC Lightweight Title challenger Michael Chandler in the UFC 314 co-main event, and has vowed to beat Chandler by submission in fairly quick fashion in a recent interview with TNT Sports:

“I think it works out well for me. I’ve seen him saying he thinks it works out well for him, so we’re both going into this very confident.

“I think he’s just going to come in and try and take my head off, like he does with everyone.

“I don’t think he’ll wrestle, because he knows I’ll submit him. You know what I mean. If we end up on the floor, I think it will be over pretty quick. I’ll submit him.

“I think he’ll be done in two, like. I think maybe submission round two,” Pimblett concluded.

The best sports betting apps are finding it hard to split Chandler and Pimblett, with the fight seen as a real 50/50 clash in the UFC 314 co-main event. Time will tell how it goes in this fascinating 155-pound clash.
