Why Did WWE Change WrestleMania 41 Plans?
According to reports from Fightful Select and PWInsider, many of these WrestleMania 41 matches were never finalised. Injuries and evolving creative directions caused key changes:
Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) was sidelined, leading to the scrapping of Wyatt Sicks vs The Judgment Day.
Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax was replaced after Tiffany’s cash-in, and Cargill was put against Naomi.
Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens was initially planned, but Owens’ injury led Orton to request a match with Joe Hendry.
Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs Damage CTRL (IYO SKY & Asuka) was discussed but not officially pitched to talent.
