Here’s our Newcastle Vs Bromley preview, prediction, team news and confirmed lineups ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup third-round tie at St James’ Park.

Newcastle Vs Bromley Preview

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle side have won a remarkable seven straight games in all competitions.

Their last defeat was a 4-2 loss at Brentford in early December. Only Premier League form table.

The Magpies did their hunt for a first trophy since 1955 no harm with a dominant 2-0 win at Arsenal in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg.

But before they can focus on the massive return fixture at St James’ Park, attention now turns to the FA Cup.

Last year, they were beaten by Manchester City in the quarter-finals. With a great chance to go deep into the competition, fans will be expecting a strong showing.

They have been handed a favourable draw, and host League Two outfit Bromley on Sunday.

The Ravens have made it to the FA Cup third round for the first time in their history, earning a memorable Premier League away day.

Andy Woodman’s men were unbeaten in ten games before losing 4-1 at Crewe last time out.

They sit 12th in League Two – six points below the playoffs but with a game in hand on seventh-placed Doncaster.

Nevertheless, the London outfit will be up against it when they make the long trip up the M1 this weekend.

Newcastle have been dominating Premier League sides recently, so will expect a comfortable win.

Newcastle: Dubravka; Trippier, Kelly, Schar, Targett; Longstaff, Miley, Joelinton; Barnes, Almiron, Osula

Bromley: Odutay, Elerewe, Sowunmi, Reynolds; Thompson, Arthurs; Imray, Congreve, Whitley; Cheek

Newcastle Vs Bromley Prediction

With their current form among the best in the country, Newcastle are a dangerous opponents for anyone at the minute.

While Eddie Howe is expected to rest his big guns, there is enough depth of talent at the Saudi-backed Premier League club to be far too good for Bromley.

It would take a historic giant killing for the League Two outfit to win this one, something we don’t see happening on Sunday.

Prediction: Newcastle 3-0 Bromley
