Kicking off the list is Real Madrid No. 7 Vinicius Junior, scoring two goals in the Champions League finals. The Brazilian, who has been at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium since the summer of 2018, has already won the competition twice.

The 25-year-old scored his first Champions League final goal in 2021-22, scoring their only goal in the 1-0 win over Liverpool. His second came in last year’s title decider. Vinicius Jr scored the second goal in Los Blancos’ 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund.

Vinicius Jr. is one of the poster boys of this Real Madrid team, but the club have been struggling to tie him down. Vinicius recently denied reports of imminent contract renewal, putting potential suitors on high alert.

Having hit the back of the net two times in the Champions League finals, Karl-Heinz Riedle has taken 12th place in the rankings. The former German international scored only five UCL goals for Dortmund in his career, with two coming in the most important game of all.

Riedle was the hero of the 1996-97 Champions League final. He scored a decisive brace to propel Dortmund to a 3-1 victory over Juventus.

Hernan Crespo scored two Champions League final goals for AC Milan despite spending just one season at the Italian club. Unfortunately, his heroics went in vain, as the Rossoneri failed to claim the trophy.

Crespo scored twice as Milan went 3-0 up against Liverpool in the 2004-25 Champions League final in Istanbul. Milan seemed destined to cruise to the trophy, but a heroic Liverpool comeback spoiled their party. The Reds made the game 3-3 before beating Milan 6-5 on penalties.

His second one came for the Bianconeri in the 2016-17 final against Real Madrid. The Croatian’s goal turned out to be a consolation as Madrid cruised to a 4-1 win.

Real Madrid icon Raul Gonzalez scored two goals in the Champions League finals throughout his illustrious career. The Spaniard scored 66 goals for the All-Whites in 130 UCL outings in his career, winning the trophy three times.

Raul scored in the 1999-00 final against Valencia. His goal helped Los Merengues to a 3-0 win. His second final goal was even more decisive, as it helped Real Madrid clinch a 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in 2002.

Ramos’s first final goal is easily the most memorable of the lot. He scored a brilliant header to equalise for Real Madrid in the 93rd minute of the 2013-14 Champions League final against Atletico Madrid. Madrid went on to win the game 4-1 after extra time.

His second final goal in 2016, once again against Atletico Madrid. Los Rojiblancos were not beaten from direct play but succumbed to a defeat on penalties.

Ex-Italian centre forward Daniele Massaro scored seven goals for AC Milan in 28 Champions League games. Two of his goals came in the finals.

Massaro produced a jaw-dropping performance in the 1993-94 Champions League final against Barcelona. Netting an excellent brace, Massaro propelled the team to a 4-0 win. It was one of the most one-sided finals in history.

Inzaghi’s stellar UCL final display came against Liverpool in 2007. Having tasted a bitter defeat at Liverpool’s hands in 2005, Inzaghi got his revenge two years later, scoring a brace to propel his team to a 2-1 victory.

Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o scored two goals for Barcelona in the Champions League final. Throughout his legendary career, Eto’o won the Champions League four times, with two of them coming at Barcelona.

Eto’o scored one goal each in the two UCL finals he played for the Catalans. He scored one goal in the 2-1 win over Arsenal in the 2006 UCL final. Three years later, he was on the scoresheet once more as Barca beat Manchester United 2-0 in the final.

Both of Messi’s UCL final goals came against Manchester United. In 2009, he scored an astonishing header to help Barca to a 2-0 victory over the Red Devils. Two years later, he scored another excellent goal, this time from outside the box, to fire Barca in front. The game finished 3-1 in the Catalan side’s favour.

Gareth Bale has edged out eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, scoring three goals for Real Madrid in the Champions League finals. Bale scored 16 goals and provided 14 assists in 57 UCL games for Madrid, winning the trophy five times with the club.

Bale scored his first UCL final goal in his debut season at Madrid, netting a brilliant header to help his club to a 4-1 win in the 2013-14 final against Atletico Madrid. His other two goals came against Liverpool in the 2017-18 final. After coming off the bench, Bale scored a marvellous overhead kick to put Madrid 2-1 up before beating Loris Karius with a drive from outside the box, securing a 3-1 victory.

Before leaving for Saudi Arabia, he played 183 games in the Champions League, scoring 140 goals and winning the competition five times.

Ronaldo scored his first UCL final goal in 2008, in Manchester United’s shootout win over Chelsea. The Portuguese dispatched an excellent header to notch his first final goal, but missed his penalty. Luckily, Man Utd did not have to pay the price.

His remaining three Champions League final goals came for Real Madrid. He scored the first one in the 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid in 2013-14, converting emphatically from the penalty spot. The other two came in the 4-1 win over Juventus in the 2016-17 UCL final. He scored in the 20th and 64th minutes to give Madrid complete control of the game.
