The exciting British southpaw heavyweight has been touted for big things ever since turning professional back in January 2023. Fast forward to now and Itauma isn’t too far away from competing for world honours despite still being a relative novice.

Moses Itauma’s record now stands at 11-0 with nine KO’s. Since turning pro, Itauma has risen quickly up the ranks. He has won his last six consecutive fights by emphatic knockout, going past the second round on just two occasions in his entire professional career to date.

Last time out Itauma made a huge statement, knocking Demsey McKean out in Round 1 of their heavyweight bout on the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 undercard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

His Excellency Turki Alalshikh is clearly a big fan of Itauma’s too, having fought on two of his shows in Saudi Arabia already. Going forward, it is likely that Itauma will continue to fight on these blockbuster Riyadh Season shows.

In regards to the Moses Itauma next fight, it has been confirmed that the unbeaten British heavyweight will return to the ring on May 24th on the Josh Taylor vs Ekow Essuman undercard in Glasgow, Scotland.

It is unlikely that Itauma’s next fight will be against any household names, but that’s not to say that the unbeaten British heavyweight won’t be in the world title picture before the end of the year.

After his Round 1 blowout of Demsey McKean on the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 undercard last December, fans have been calling for Itauma to fight world world honours already, despite being just 20-years-old.

In of options going forward, it is a genuine possibility that Moses Itauma could fight world a version of the world heavyweight title before the end of 2025.

Daniel Dubois of course currently hold all four belts between them, but do not be surprised to see Itauma fight for a vacant belt, if Usyk vacates one, before Christmas.

The Anthony Joshua, which won’t happen due to both training together with Ben Davison.

Going forward, Moses Itauma’s next fight after May 24th could well be against a fellow world level fighter for a version of a World Heavyweight Title belt.
