Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are two of the star names that will be competing at the Monte Carlo Masters 2025 – but who else will be present?

Some of the biggest names in the world of tennis will appear in Monte Carlo on April 6th, as the tournament is the first clay-court event from the ATP Masters 1000 in 2025.

This is the 118th edition of the competition and the current title holder is Stefanos Tsitsipas, after his huge victory over Casper Ruud in 2024.

Novak Djokovic will be hoping to win his 100th ATP title in Monte Carlo, after narrowly missing out on this historic landmark in Miami – losing to Jakub Mensik in the Miami Open final.

However, Mensik will not be competing in Monte Carlo as the Czech Republic tennis star is taking a brief break away from tennis.

Another big name that will be miss out on the tournament is Jannik Sinner, as the World No.1 continues his doping ban until May 4th and the World No.13, Tommy Paul has also opted out.

Carlos Alcaraz will be competing and the two-time Wimbledon champion will be hoping to live up to his ‘King Of Clay’ nickname.

56 players are set to feature in the draw for the singles tournament in Monte Carlo, with 44 qualifying directly, eight earning a spot through a qualification match and four entering as wildcards.
