Lyon Vs Man United Highlights As Matic Earns Last Laugh After TWO Onana Howlers Cost Red Devils

Watch the Lyon vs Man United highlights as Andre Onana made two costly mistakes during the 2-2 draw in the Europa League quarter-final 1st leg.
Lyon Vs Man United Highlights
It was another night to forget for Man United goalkeeper Andre Onana who was at fault for both of Lyon’s goals at the Groupama Stadium on Thursday night.
The 2-2 Europa League quarter-final 1st leg draw means everything is to play for at Old Trafford next week. However, the Premier League side will feel frustrated with not securing a valuable win.
Goals from Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee completed United’s turnaround after Thiago Almada gave the French side the lead.
In the final moments of the game, Rayan Cherki equalised for the French side after an exhilarating climax in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes.
Onana will be really feeling the heat after his errors reinforced OL manager Nemanja Matic’s claims in the build up to the clash.

Former Red Devil Nemanja Matic suggested that the Cameroonian international is ‘one of the worst goalkeepers in Man Utd’s history.’
Those words will definitely gain more traction in the coming days as Ruben Amorim has a huge call to make ahead of the fixtures against Newcastle and the return leg against the Ligue 1 side.
Only time will tell what Amorim will do but the Portuguese gaffer certainly has plenty to ponder. Onana’s position as United’s No 1 is very much up for debate.
The first error occurred when Almada’s in-swinging free-kick wasn’t dealt with by the former Inter stopper who could only palm the effort into the top corner.
Yoro and Zirkzee appeared to bail Onana out when they both scored headers to give Man United a crucial lead. Nonetheless, Onana fumbled again when he parried a Georges Mikautadze shot which allowed Cherki to tap home with just seconds of injury time remaining.
