As per the Spanish outlet, Liverpool are eager to strengthen their midfield and have identified Tchouameni as a person of interest. They understand the international is a player in demand, which is why they are prepared to table a lucrative offer.

The 19-time English champions are ready to splurge £41.5 million to prize Tchouameni away from the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. They are willing to pay €35 million (£29.1 million) up front and £12.4 million next season.

Pep Guardiola‘s Manchester City are also keeping tabs on Tchouameni. With Rodri likely to sit out the entirety of the 2024-25 season, Man City do not have any player who can naturally serve as his replacement. This has massively impacted City’s performances, with them dropping to sixth place in the Premier League rankings.

Man City want to decrease the overreliance on Rodri and believe g Tchouameni could ease their pain. The opportunity to train under one of the finest coaches in football history could entice the Frenchman to switch to the Etihad Stadium.

Tchouameni, who ed Real Madrid from AS Monaco for a combined £85.3 million (including add-ons), has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe. He is excellent at winning the ball, reads the game well, is strong in duels, and has impressive ing range.

Tchouameni is an important part of Carlo Ancelotti‘s squad, but he has not played regularly in his natural position this season due to the intense competition. However, thanks to his versatility, Tchouameni has often gotten the chance to line up alongside Antonio Rudiger at the heart of the Real Madrid defence.

Tchouameni has so far played 110 games for the club in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing five assists. His contract with the club expires in June 2028.
