The latest Leroy Sané transfer news suggests the Bayern Munich winger could be heading to recent Europa League winners Tottenham on a FREE transfer.

Spurs Target Leroy Sané Transfer This Summer

Armed with the carrot of Champions League football in 2025/26, Tottenham have a lot more negotiation clout in the transfer market – despite finishing the Premier League in a lowly 17th place.

With the latest name being linked with the North London side a player well-known to the Premier League – Leroy Sané (29), who plied his trade at Manchester City between 2016 and 202o.

The German winger moved to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in 2020 in a €45m deal and this season featured in 45 games for them in all competitions – scoring 13.

When Does Leroy Sané’s Contract Expire?

Sané will be a free agent in June 2025 when his current deal with Bayern Munich expires.

Meaning a whole host of clubs around the world have been put on high alert – including Spurs.

A Leroy Sané transfer to Tottenham would be their first big g since winning the 2025 Europa League, when beating Manchester United 1-0.

The North London side will earn £15.7m just for qualifying for the Champions League and a lot more with wins and progression along the way. Giving them more power in the transfer market and the option to offer top-flight European football.

It’s reported that fellow Premier League London sides Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with a Leroy Sané transfer, according to the player’s agent Pini Zahavi, who has been travelling to Munich to discuss any future moves.

While Turkish side Galatasaray have also been rumoured to have offered Sané a salary of £8.3m.

However, it’s believed the former City man is preferring a move back to the Premier League and won’t feature in the 2025-26 Bayern Munich leaked kit.

What Is Leroy Sané’s Salary at Bayern Munich? 💶

Leroy Sané’s salary at Bayern Munich is £8.3m and an additional £4.6m bonus – which equates to approx. £250,000 a week.

It’s also been suggested that with his contract running out in the summer the Bayern Munich owners, including sporting director Max Eberl, are not willing to increase his salary.

Which is why a possible Leroy Sané transfer looks on the cards in the coming weeks.
