Watch Leicester Vs Newcastle highlights as the visitors won 3-0 at the King Power Stadium on Monday night in the Premier League.

Eddie Howe’s marauding Mags inflicted yet another crushing defeat on Leicester to leave the Foxes with one foot through the relegation door.

The victory saw Newcastle remain in the hunt for Champions League football, while their hosts have now lost nine straight games in all competitions.

It took just two minutes for Newcastle to open the scoring, with Tino Livramento teeing up Jacob Murphy for a tap-in after some excellent play down the left flank.

Murphy was in again shortly after, reacting quickest to score the rebound after Fabian Schar’s wonderous long-range effort struck the bar.

It was a familiar face who then sunk Leicester completely. Former Foxes favourite Harvey Barnes grabbed the third after Wout Faes’s effort was parried into danger by Mads Hermansen.

With boos ringing around the King Power, Leicester made it more than 12 hours of football without scoring a goal.

There was a small crumb of positivity for Leicester, though. The debut of 15-year-old replacement Jeremy Monga made him the second-youngest player in Premier League history behind Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri.

But while the youngster will never forget his first appearance, most Leicester fans will want to erase Monday night’s memory as quickly as possible.

Watch: Leicester Vs Newcastle Highlights

Victory for Eddie Howe’s side moves them above Manchester City and up to fifth in the Premier League.

Level on points with Chelsea in fourth, their game in hand means they are still masters of their own European destinies.

For Leicester, meanwhile, they are now the first team in English football history to lose eight consecutive home league games without scoring a goal.

Fifteen points from safety, they are all but mathematically relegated, but will hope to avoid making it ten losses on the bounce when they travel to Brighton on Saturday.
