Leicester City Vs Everton Team News And Predicted Lineups As Both Sides Aim For First League Win

With two of the Premier League’s early strugglers going head to head on Saturday, here’s our Leicester City Vs Everton team news and predicted lineups.
Both Leicester and Everton are yet to win in the league so far this season. Everton have lost all four of their games to date.
Things got even worse for the Toffees on Tuesday, as they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup on penalties by Southampton – themselves without a win since returning to the top flight.
With both sides low on confidence, it will be fascinating to see who comes out on top this Saturday. This one has the feeling of a tight and nervous affair, with one goal likely to be enough to win it.
The last time these two met, the points were shared in a 2-2 draw at the King Power Stadium.
The head-to-head record between Leicester and Everton is almost a dead heat. In the 107 matches played between them, Everton edges it with 37 wins to Leicester’s 35, with 35 draws as well.
Jamie Vardy is the fixture’s top goal scorer, with seven, and will be hoping to add to his tally on Saturday.
Leicester City Team News
The Foxes are helped up front by the returning Odsonne Edouard. On loan from Crystal Palace, the French forward was unable to face his parent club last time out, but is in line for a delayed debut.
But he will struggle to displace veteran and Leicester legend, Jamie Vardy. With 12 goal contributions in his last eight games against the Toffees, Vardy has proved the difference in this fixture on numerous occasions.
In of injuries, there are no fresh concerns for Steve Cooper’s side. Both Patson Daka and Jakub Stolarczyk are out with ankle problems, but the rest of the squad are fit and firing.
Everton Team News
It’s a different story for Sean Dyche and Everton. Vitaly Mykolenko missed the loss to Southampton with illness, but the left-back may recover in time for the trip to Leicester.
The likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, James Tarkowski and Michael Keane are also looking likely to play, but plenty are still missing.
Seamus Coleman (calf), James Garner (illness), Idrissa Gueye (personal), Nathan Patterson (thigh), Chermiti (ankle), Jarrad Branthwaite (groin) and Armando Broja (calf) are all unavailable.
Ashley Young should return to the starting XI despite missing the vital penalty that lost Everton the shootout against Southampton, as should Jordan Pickford and Jack Harrison.
