Leicester City manager Steve Cooper has expressed his deep discontent with the Premier League following a controversial VAR decision in last week’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace.

The Foxes boss believes a “false image” was used to justify the decision to allow Palace’s first goal, and he has demanded answers from the league.

Cooper revealed that the club has already ed the Leicester, the decision was a clear mistake, and they are determined to address it.

“It was an awful human error that we believe has been hidden a little bit,” Cooper stated. “That’s been as disappointing as the decision itself. We didn’t feel it was right, asked for clarity, and have seen images that clearly show the player was offside.”

The manager emphasised that all the footage they have seen indicates that the initial decision was based on a false image.

“We’ve had a massive error go against us, and we don’t want it to go under the radar,” Cooper added. “That’s not fair on the players or the ers.”

Cooper believes that such errors should never happen, especially with the assistance of VAR.

He expressed his disappointment and frustration with the situation, stating, “Errors like that should never happen, especially with VAR. We felt very let down by it, and we needed to stand up for the club and tell them what we thought.”

While it remains unclear whether the Premier League will respond to Leicester’s concerns, the club is determined to address the issue and seek justice for the incorrect decision.

As they await further developments, Leicester will turn their attention to their match against Everton on Saturday, where they will be aiming to secure a victory and bounce back from the recent disappointment.
