Here’s our Leicester City Vs Brentford preview, prediction, team news and confirmed lineups ahead of Friday night’s Premier League clash.

Leicester City Vs Brentford Preview

The Foxes kept out Arsenal until the final ten minutes, only for two Mikel Merino strikes to plunge Leicester into the bottom three.

The defeat was Leicester’s fifth Premier League loss in a row at the King Power stadium – meaning they’ll set a new record if they are beaten by Brentford.

Leicester have not scored in any of their last five home games and look devoid of confidence.

But despite their worrying form, a win on Friday could see them climb back above the drop zone.

Standing in their way are a Brentford side who, until recently, were hopeless on the road.

Thomas Frank’s team had taken just two points from 27 away from home before winning three on the bounce on their travels.

The Bees sit 11th in the table on 34 points, and are well clear of any relegation threat.

However, their awful away form for most of the campaign has dashed any realistic hopes of European football.

With 13 games to go, they are nine points Chelsea in sixth. It would therefore take a remarkable final run to lift Brentford into continental contention.

Leicester City Vs Brentford Team News

Leicester will be without James Justin after he picked up an ankle injury in last weekend’s defeat to Arsenal and is a major doubt.

Wilfried Ndidi has made a welcome return recently, and plays in the middle next to Boubakary Soumare.

Ricardo Pereira (muscle) and Abdul Fatawu (knee) are the long-term absentees, with Fatawu out for the season.

For Brentford, Sepp van den Berg is unavailable after sustaining a knee injury at West Ham. Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, Igor Thiago and Josh Dasilva are all still missing.

Leicester City Vs Brentford Confirmed Lineups

Leicester City: Hermansen; Coulibaly, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen; Soumare, Ndidi; El Khannouss, De Corvoda-Reid, Ayew; Vardy

Brentford: Flekken; Ajer, Collins, Pinnock, Lewis-Potter; Norgaard, Janelt; Mbeumo, Damsgaard, Schade; Wissa

Leicester City Vs Brentford Prediction

Brentford have a terrible record at the King Power in recent years. Winless in in their last four trips to Leicester, they will be hoping for a result on Friday.

The form book suggests they may well get one, though. Leicester have been dreadful lately and we think the away side will take all three points.

Prediction: Leicester City 1-2 Brentford
