LIV Golf To Be Shown On Free-To-Air TV In The UK After Striking Broadcast Deal With ITV

LIV Golf and ITV have agreed a deal to show the 2025 season of the professional golf tour on free-to-air TV in the United Kingdom.
ITV have announced a new partnership with the Saudi-backed LIV Golf league to show live, free-to-air coverage of the 2025 season in the United Kingdom across their channels.
Coverage gets underway with the second round of the season-opener in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, played between 6-8 February, with 41 rounds of live golf shown across 14 tournaments following throughout the season on ITVX – which serves as the primary platform for LIV Golf coverage.
Selected rounds will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITV4, while there will also be a weekly highlights show produced by LIV Golf shown on ITV4. By doing this, ITV becomes the only free-to-air broadcaster showing golf in the UK.
Since the league’s formation in 2021 and its launch in 2022, LIV Golf has only been available to watch online.
ITV and LIV Golf Partnership Dubbed a ‘Major Milestone’
Ron Wechsler, LIV Golf Senior Vice President of Broadcasting Partnerships and Programming Strategy, commented: “Our partnership with ITV represents a major milestone as we strive to bring LIV Golf to every corner of the world.
“With a premier sports broadcaster like ITV, we can ensure that more fans than ever will be able to access the excitement of the LIV Golf experience and connect with the world-class players, teams, and stories that make us a truly standalone global sports league.”
Niall Sloane, Director of ITV Sport, said: “This is an exciting time for LIV Golf as we look ahead to the innovative 2025 season. This partnership delivers free-to-air coverage for fans in the UK and we are delighted to welcome LIV Golf to ITV Sport.”
The UK’s best golf betting sites have Adrian Meronk as the 2/1 outright favourite to win LIV Golf Riyadh at the time of writing, with Sebastian Munoz (9/2), Tyrrell Hatton (5/1), Jon Rahm (6/1) and Tom McKibbin (9/1) following in the market.
