The Israel Adesanya next fight is a hot topic of conversation, with ‘The Last Stylebender’ now in the later stages of his career. Could Adesanya retire from MMA, or does he have more fights left in him before he hangs up the gloves for good?

Israel Adesanya Next Fight: When Will The Two-Time UFC Middleweight King Return?

Alex Pereira, but won it back in their immediate rematch.

There is no doubt that Adesanya is one of the best 185-pound fighters in the world, and will be determined to get back to the top of the middleweight tree in the next year or two.

Adesanya also comes in at fifth on the highest-paid fighter in UFC history. However, another couple of fights and Adesanya will make it into the list for sure.

Israel Adesanya’s record is an impressive 24-5, which consists of 16 knockout victories and just eight decision wins. The 35-year-old is also widely regarded as a Top 3 middleweight of all time, alongside the likes of Anderson Silva and a couple of other stellar names.

Dricus du Plessis back-to-back for the title, Adesanya was knocked out by Nassourdine Imavov last time out.

Now, questions are being asked as to who the Israel Adesanya next fight will be against. Some fans believe Izzy was just unlucky against Imavov and got caught, whilst others feel he should hang up his gloves for good with millions in the bank and his faculties in tact.

Time will tell what happens next for the Nigerian-New Zealander. He has a few big decisions to make before deciding whether or not to get back inside the octagon again.

Could Israel Adesanya Win The UFC Middleweight Title Again?

UFC President Dana White will be hoping to see ‘The Last Stylebender’ back to winning ways in 2025 and beyond. He remains one of the biggest draws in the UFC, despite losing four of his last five fights and three on the bounce now.

Calls for retirement from UFC fans have been thrown about, but some feel Adesanya still has far more to give and is capable of getting back to winning ways and even near a title shot again next year.

In regards to Israel Adesanya’s next fight, ‘The Last Stylebender’ has said he will take time to assess his option before making any decisions. Reading between the lines this either means opting to fight on, or retiring once and for all.

Adesanya is still a top fighter at 185-pounds, and the best UFC betting sites in the UK would still likely favour him against the majority of middleweight’s in the world. But it is looking increasingly unlikely that the former two-time champion and UFC Hall of Famer will ever win UFC gold again.

There are plenty of fights out there that still make sense for Israel Adesanya next. It’s just a matter of whether he wants to fight on or not. Whatever decision he makes, it is sure to be the right one.
