The PDC Premier League Darts returns for Night 13 in Birmingham on Thursday, and our guide includes information on how to watch the action, as well as a preview, predictions and start times.

PDC Premier League Darts Night 13 Preview

Despite an agonising first round exit after throwing away a 4-1 lead to lose 6-5 against Michael van Gerwen in Liverpool last week, Luke Littler remains top of the Premier League table, four points clear of second place Luke Humphries.

Gerwyn Price, who beat Chris Dobey, Rob Cross and Humphries to reign supreme on Night 12, follows in third place on 20 points, with Nathan Aspinall and Van Gerwen sitting in fourth and fifth, respectively, on 17 points.

Cross, Dobey and Stephen Bunting make up the remainder of the table in sixth, seventh and eighth.

Heading to the Utilita Arena in Birmingham for Night 13 on Thursday, 1 May, it’s top against bottom to kick things off, as reigning PDC World Champion Littler takes on Bunting in the opening quarter-final match.

‘The Asp’ vs ‘Hollywood’ follows as the second game of the evening, before ‘Cool Hand Luke’ Humphries faces ‘The Iceman’ in a repeat of last week’s final in the third match, with Cross and Van Gerwen rounding off the quarter-final action.

PDC Premier League Darts Night 13 Predictions

Luke Littler vs Stephen Bunting (19:15)

Thursday night’s opener in Birmingham sees table-topper and world No. 2 Littler face bottom-of-the-table Bunting, who heads into the tie off the back of a second round exit at the Austrian Open over the weekend.

‘The Nuke’, who won the Austrian Open in 2024, opted against travelling to the Steiermarkhalle in Graz, so was unable to defend his title, while Bunting was beaten 6-4 by Canadian Matt Campbell to suffer a disappointing early exit.

Both players were eliminated in the quarter-finals on Night 12. Littler lost 6-5 to Van Gerwen, and ‘The Bullet’ was battered 6-1 by Cross. The pair will be desperate to bounce back with a victory in this one.

With Humphries breathing down his neck in second place, we expect that it’ll be the 18-year-old that comes out on top here, and we’re backing him to do so in rather comfortable fashion to add to Bunting’s woes.

Prediction: Luke Littler 6-3 Stephen Bunting

Nathan Aspinall vs Chris Dobey (19:45)

Like Bunting, Aspinall fell to a second round exit in Austria on Saturday, meanwhile Dobey beat Ricardo Pietreczko and Wessel Nijman on his way to the quarter-finals before losing out to eventual winner Martin Schindler.

Both ‘The Asp’ and ‘Hollywood’ have been in strong form as of late, despite the pair being eliminated in the quarter-finals last week, so we expect a tightly contested affair in Night 13’s second fixture.

Dobey desperately needs a victory to put himself back in the play-off conversation, and we at SportsCasting can see him taking a step towards doing just that with a narrow win over Aspinall to advance to the semi-finals.

Prediction: Nathan Aspinall 5-6 Chris Dobey

Luke Humphries vs Gerwyn Price (20:15)

In a repeat of the Night 12 final, Humphries and Price go head-to-head in the third quarter-final in Birmingham.

Of course, ‘The Iceman’ came out on top when they last met, claiming a 6-4 triumph on Merseyside to seal his third nightly victory of the 2025 Premier League campaign, but we believe ‘Cool Hand Luke’ will bounce back here.

The 2024 PDC World Darts Championship winner has a strong record against Price, having won seven of their last 10 head-to-head matches, with five of those wins coming in this year’s Premier League.

Prediction: Luke Humphries 6-4 Gerwyn Price

Rob Cross vs Michael van Gerwen (20:45)

Cross and Van Gerwen meet in the final quarter-final match on Thursday night, where both players will be looking to get off to a strong start as they aim to secure their first nightly win of the Premier League campaign.

The pair are the only two players remaining without a nightly win this season.

Both players were victorious in their quarter-final matches last week, with Van Gerwen beating Littler and Cross beating Bunting, but based on form across the last month or so, there’s one clear favourite heading into this, and that’s MVG.

We’re backing ‘Mighty Mike’, who claimed his first European Tour title of the year at the German Darts Grand Prix and struck a nine-darter a week and a half ago, to advance to the semi-finals with a 6-4 win over ‘Voltage’.

Prediction: Rob Cross 4-6 Michael van Gerwen
