Brentford, meanwhile, currently in 11th place in the table, four points adrift of 10th place Bournemouth, have lost just two of their last nine league outings and head into this one off the back of an impressive 4-2 win over Brighton.

Unsurprisingly given his form this term, Bryan Mbeumo starred that day, notching two goals and an assist, while equally impressive frontman Yoane Wissa also grabbed a goal and an assist.

Prior to their win over the Seagulls, the Bees had failed to win in three successive league matches, having lost 2-1 to Newcastle at the start of April, followed by 0-0 and 1-1 draws against Chelsea and Arsenal.

When Brentford and Forest met earlier this season, it was the East Midlands outfit that prevailed at the Gtech Community Stadium, claiming a 2-0 triumph thanks to goals from Ola Aina and Anthony Elanga.
