With the percentage prize money on winnings reported to be between 6-8% and at times up to 10% – but each player and caddie will come to their own arrangements.

Therefore, this means with Scheffler winning up to $62m this season, his caddie Ted Scott would have bolstered his bank by more than $5m.

Scheffler, who won his second Masters and green jacket at Augusta in April, had won his caddie around $2.6m with all his wins and places till September.

However, another big windfall for Scottie Scheffler’s caddie came in the final month of the tour, when the world number one landed the FedEx Cup – winning $25m and approx. another $2.5m for Ted Scott.
