Goncalo Inacio Transfer News
If Manchester United were to win the race for Goncalo Inacio’s signature, he would be competing for a starting berth alongside Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire.
The latter recently penned a new deal at Old Trafford after doubts about his long-term future. Argentine star Martinez has been criticised in recent weeks and could be on his way out of the club.
That would leave Yoro and De Ligt’s as Inacio’s main competition to start in the centre of defence. However, boss Ruben Amorim would likely play Inacio on the left-hand side. Partnered with either Yoro or De Ligt.
Standing at 6’1,” Inacio has the height advantage that has often exposed Martinez this season. If the Argentine star was to leave, Inacio would be viewed as an ideal replacement.
