Watch the highlights as Liverpool reinforce their Premier League title aspirations with a commanding 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town at Anfield on Saturday.

A brace from Cody Gakpo, along with goals from Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah, ensured that the Reds maintained their six-point lead at the top of the table ahead of Arsenal.

Liverpool’s Title Charge Rolls On

The hosts started strong, with Dominik Szoboszlai breaking the deadlock in the 11th minute with a precise left-footed finish.

Mohamed Salah then doubled the lead in the 28th minute after expertly controlling a Cody Gakpo cross before rifling a shot into the net. Just before halftime, Gakpo capitalised on a rebound to make it 3-0, effectively sealing the result early.

Ipswich made defensive changes at halftime to limit the damage, but Liverpool remained dominant.

In the 65th minute, Gakpo completed his brace with a well-timed header from a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross. The Reds continued to press, with Alexander-Arnold hitting the crossbar late on.

Ipswich managed a late consolation goal when Jacob Greaves converted a Julio Enciso corner, giving the visiting fans a brief moment to celebrate. However, it did little to change the outcome, as Liverpool comfortably saw out the victory.
