Here’s our Fulham vs Watford player ratings as the Cottagers beat the Hornets 4-1 in the FA Cup 3rd round on Thursday night.

Fulham Player Ratings (4-2-3-1)

Steven Benda – 6.5

Didn’t have a huge amount to do in between the sticks but was faultless to stop Rocco Vata’s stunning equaliser. He communicated well with his backline throughout the contest.

Timothy Castagne – 8

A solid performance from the defender who capped off his evening with the last goal. Playing at full-back, he looked composed and assured throughout.

Joachim Andersen – 7.5

The burly defender was rarely threatened and he also got on the scoresheet with a fine volley. Was perhaps caught out for Watford’s equaliser.

Jorge Cuenca – 6.5

The Spanish defender was making just his fifth appearance of the season and looked shaky at times. However, he showed glimpses of his potential as well.

Ryan Sessegnon – 8

An assured showing from the left-back who is beginning to get back to his best. His dynamic runs caused Watford plenty of problems.

Sasa Lukic – 8

A superb performance in midfield. Watford caused him hardly any problems owing to his bullish and stylish display in the middle of the park.

Emile Smith Rowe – 7.5

Another strong display from Fulham’s club-record g. Was a constant threat and his performance was just missing a goal contribution.

Adama Traore – 8

His pace and strength hurt the visitors and he was on hand to assist the opener. Was also fouled for the penalty which put the Cottagers 2-1 ahead.

Andreas Pereira – 9

Our Man of the Match after a glowing performance. Helped Fulham tick and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after hitting the bar. An assist for the third goal was fully deserved.

Alex Iwobi – 8

Another strong performance from the former Arsenal man. Was too hot for Watford to handle and his work rate throughout helped roar the Cottagers on to victory.

Rodrigo Muniz – 8

Took the opening goal very neatly and was a thorn in Watford’s defence. Unfortunately, his evening came to a premature end with an apparent back injury.

Substitutes

Raul Jimenez – 8 (for Muniz 45′)

Issa Diop – 6 (for Andersen 66′)

Joshua King – 6 (for Smith Rowe 66′)

Martial Godo – 6.5 (for Iwobi 66′)

Harrison Reed – 6 (for Lukic 76′)
