FPL Salah shares his take on the best Fantasy Football picks that include the best teams to invest in for the end of season run in ahead of Gameweek 35.

Abdul Rehman, known in the community as FPL Salah, returns with another week of his best Fantasy Premier League picks as part of his ongoing series with SportsCasting.

With over 17 years of FPL experience, 14 top 50k finishes, and four top 1k finishes, you’re in safe hands. This week, FPL Salah discusses the best teams to target to help propel you up the rankings.

We will look at the teams with the best fixtures for the final four games and the assets you should be looking at buying.

Let’s dive in.

FPL Salah’s Gameweek 35 Tips

Manchester City – Fixtures: Wolves (H), Southampton (A), Bournemouth (H), Fulham (A)

Manchester City have one of the best fixture runs, and they also have a lot to play for with the fight for the Champions League places so tight.

If you still don’t own Omar Marmoush (£7.6m), then he should probably be your top target. He is likely the best captain option in Gameweeks 35 and 36.

However, I would keep an eye on the fitness of Erling Haaland (£14.8m), as he is scheduled to be back by Gameweek 36.

I also don’t think it’s the worst idea in the world to double up on their defence.

Joško Gvardiol (£6.3m) and Rúben Dias (£5.4m) are the two most nailed defenders, and I think City’s fixtures are decent for clean sheet purposes too.

I think a good punt however, is Kevin De Bruyne (£9.4m).

He has started the last four league games, and with him being an unused substitute in City’s FA Cup semi-final win over Nottingham Forest, I think he starts in Gameweek 35 and will likely start the remaining league games too.

The Belgian has also been getting plenty of playing time, averaging 88 minutes per game over the last four.

He has said himself he has been playing ‘pain free’ after a long time, so his minutes are looking quite secure going forward also.

Brentford – Fixtures: Man United (H), Ipswich (A), Fulham (H), Wolves (A)

Brentford have great fixtures from an attacking point of view, which is why both Bryan Mbeumo (£8.1m) and Yoane Wissa (£6.6m) should be on our radars.

Mbeumo is the second highest-scoring player in the game with 18 goals and seven assists. The Cameroonian is nailed to start, on penalties and is one of the few players who will play 90 minutes in every game.

Wissa has a very impressive 15 goals and five assists in 29 starts and has played the full 90 in every game since Gameweek 20. He is well and truly nailed and playing as the number 9 for a good attacking side.

Both these guys represent great value too at their prices. I don’t think any of their other players are worth going for however. Defensively, I don’t see many clean sheets in their last four games either.,

Man United (H), Ipswich (A), Fulham (H) and Wolves (A) all look like games that will have goals in them.

Everton – Fixtures: Ipswich (H), Fulham (A), Southampton (H), Newcastle (A).

If you are looking for some cheap, good-value defenders from now until the end of the season, then look no further than Everton.

They have two of their best fixtures of the season in Ipswich (H) and Southampton (H) coming up.

The Toffees are a good defensive side – they have conceded the fifth-least goals (41) and have the fourth-best xGC (41.6) in the league.

Vitalii Mykolenko (£4.3m), Jake O’Brien (£4.5m) and Jordan Pickford (£5.1m) are good options who are nailed to start.

The former two are also cheap enough to be your fifth defenders, so you can easily bench them for the tougher away games against Fulham and Newcastle.

I don’t think any of their attackers are worth it. Beto (£4.8m) and Armando Broja (£5.3m) look to be sharing minutes now, and none of the midfielders are really viable FPL options.

Nottingham Forest – Fixtures: Crystal Palace (A), Leicester City (H), West Ham (A), Chelsea (H)

Nottingham Forest are another club who have plenty to play for, as they will be chasing the Champions League positions. They also have good fixtures in their final four games.

Chris Wood (£7.0m) has had a great season with 19 goals and three assists at the time of writing. He is nailed to start for his side and is the first-choice penalty taker.

There’s no doubt Nuno Espirito Santo will give him as many minutes as possible in order to secure Champions League football for next season.

Forest have been great, and the two games against Leicester and West Ham stick out here, not only for attacking purposes but also for defensive purposes.

In the defence, Neco Williams (£4.5m) looks great value and can be really handy during the end of season run. He is also cheap, so he should be easy enough to acquire.
