FPL Pras Gameweek 36 & 37 Fantasy Football Picks As Top Tipster Reveals Some ‘Must-See’ Buys and Sells

I’m Pras and welcome to my weekly series for SportsCasting, where I will be providing my thoughts on my FPL tips. For context, over the last 12 seasons of FPL I have achieved four top 10k finishes, including two top 5k finishes.
My seasonal average over the last seven seasons is around 21k. I am currently ranked 2.8k and you can also follow me more on my ‘X’ handle here @Pras_fpl.
As we approach the final three gameweeks, strikers are in huge demand. I wanted to therefore spend some time in this article on looking at each of the next three gameweeks, and who are the strikers that can be sold vs the bought in the Fantasy Premier League season run-in.
FPL Pras Gameweek 36 Fantasy Football Picks Suggest Wading In On Wissa
Sell: There isn’t a clear forward sell this week. The popular pick, Isak and Marmoush both have good fixtures.
In the Egyptian’s case it’s hard to sell before a very nice Southampton fixture. In Isak’s case, he still has Everton in the final game of the season and Newcastle have all to play for to make the top 5 champions league places.
This brings me to Mateta. The French forward’s form has been up and down since his ear injury, but importantly his minutes seem to be managed a lot more than his other attacking counterparts Sarr and Eze.
Moreover, his penalty miss in the cup and Eze’s successful conversion in GW35 further dents his appeal.
I also worry about his minutes in the GW37 fixture that falls only a couple of days after the FA Cup final vs Man City. All in all, I can see the merits of selling Mateta either this week or next.

Buy: If buying a striker this week then I’d look at Yoane Wissa for his form and Brentford’s fixtures where between Ipswich, Fulham and Wolves I see a lot of goals.
Mbeumo being over 100% effective ownership last week tells you that owning just him won’t get you that upside from Brentford’s attack.
The alternative to Wissa (if buying this week) would be Wood or Cunha.
However, I am not a fan of the Kiwi due to Forest’s form and fixtures after the very juicy LEI fixture in 36. Cunha has his appeal too, but I worry about his minutes the closer we get to the season end, with all the transfer speculation.
FPL Pras Gameweek 37 Fantasy Football Picks Point To Getting Haaland Back

Sell: The closer Haaland gets back into the XI, the bigger priority Omar Marmoush becomes to sell. Not due to his role, but possible impact to minutes.
It may well be that Haaland gets his minutes in the FA Cup final and Marmoush is fine to play Bournemouth in GW37, but the opposite may also happen and thus there is a scenario where Marmoush can be sold in GW37.
Buy: If buying in 37, then Ollie Watkins jumps to the top of the shopping list. It’s the Spurs fixture that appeals here.
Despite it being moved a couple of days earlier, they just haven’t had any interest in the league and I don’t see that changing in Villa’s final home game where the Villians will have everything to play for.
I do want to see Ollie get more than 70’ in GW36 though. Jamie Vardy has an excellent entry point this week as well with IPS in his final home game for the Foxes.
GW38:
Buy: For a final hurrah, I really like Evanilson in Gameweek 38. The season-ending fixture versus Leicester City should have the most goals on paper and getting 1-2 slices of that goal pie will be great.
A fit Erling Haaland could also be a final-day shout.
