FPL General Names His ‘Must-Have’ Players For The Double Gameweeks In His Gameweek 31 Tips

FPL General returns with some more Fantasy Premier League tips ahead of Gameweek 31 – this week naming his must-have players ahead of the Double Gameweeks in Gameweek 32 and 33.
FPL General Gameweek 31 Tips: Must-Haves For Double Gameweeks
We already knew that Newcastle and Crystal Palace will play twice in Gameweek 32, but now we have confirmation that Arsenal, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace (again!) will all double in Gameweek 33 too.
With back-to-back doubles, the priority has to be Palace players. Daniel Munoz (£5.1m) is their standout defender. He ranks third for FPL defenders for xGI (expected goal involvement) this season. Dean Henderson (£4.6m) is a budget-friendly goalkeeper, particularly for those eyeing up a Bench Boost soon. Up front, Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.6m) is having a great season. He’s an easy forward pick with the extra fixtures.
Those who still have the Assistant Manager chip to use should aim to deploy it on Oliver Glasner (£0.8m).
Elsewhere, Omar Marmoush (£7.5m) at Manchester City is a must-have in the absence of the injured Erling Haaland. Defender Josko Gvardiol (£6.1m), who often provides attacking returns when deployed at full-back, is another to bring in.
Arsenal have lost key defender Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.4m) for the remainder of the season, which makes William Saliba (£6.3m) the go-to defender in Fantasy Premier League now. David Raya (£5.5m) is a great set-and-forget goalkeeper too. Bukayo Saka (£10.3m) was back with a bang midweek, netting seven minutes into his long-awaited return, and he should be in everyone’s team for Arsenal’s Double Gameweek.
Aston Villa picks are a little trickier as they have the busiest schedule with Champions League and FA Cup games. Morgan Rogers rarely gets rested, which makes him the most attractive, and he added two more assists to his tally midweek. Ollie Watkins should get enough game time to justify the investment, but I’d be very tempted to opt for the cheaper Marcus Rashford instead after his goal in the 3-0 win over Brighton last time out.
