FPL General returns with some more Fantasy Premier League tips ahead of Gameweek 30 – this week centred around the most surprising stats in the Premier League thus far this season.
The international window has finally drawn to a close, and after a weekend of FA Cup action with the quarter-finals, the Premier League returns for Gameweek 30 on Tuesday through to Thursday evening.
Arsenal vs Fulham, Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United, Brighton vs Aston Villa, Manchester City vs Leicester, Liverpool vs Everton and Chelsea vs Tottenham stand out as the key fixtures throughout the gameweek.
Ahead of the action, FPL General is back with his latest set of tips for Gameweek 30, this week outlining the Premier League’s most surprising season stats.

Despite ranking among the highest scoring teams in the division and currently occupying second place in the table, Arsenal only rank seventh for xG behind the likes of Bournemouth, Tottenham and Newcastle United.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s high-flying Nottingham Forest rank 14th for xG despite sitting third in the Premier League table, behind only Liverpool and Arsenal. They’ve scored an impressive 49 goals, outperforming an xG of 37.53.
Fulham are statistically the third best team defensively when xGC (expected goals conceded) is the metric with 34.16. Only Arsenal (25.22) and Liverpool (25.49) are ranked higher than the Cottagers.
Tottenham rank 17th for xGC with 50.67. Only Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton, who were all promoted from the Championship last season and occupy the bottom three positions in the table, rank below Ange Postecoglou’s side
Chris Wood has scored 18 goals, the fourth most in the division this term, from an xG of 11.00.
Ismaila Sarr ranks sixth among midfielders for xGI (expected goal involvement).
Spurs midfielder Dejan Kulusevski, who has spent over a month on the sidelines with a foot injury, ranks fourth for midfielders for chances created while Chelsea‘s Enzo Fernandez is fifth.
Manchester City left-back Josko Gvardiol has five Premier League goals in 28 appearances this term and is the #1 defender for shots ed inside the opponent’s box (28).
