Federico Chiesa’s Agent Rules Out January Loan For Liverpool Forward Amid Transfer Rumours

Federico Chiesa’s agent has ruled out a loan move for the Liverpool forward amid rumours he may be looking for more game time elsewhere.
Italian international Chiesa, 27, has struggled for fitness and playing time since ing the Reds over the summer.
There have since been numerous reports of a possible loan deal, with some suggesting a return to Italy.
But the player’s agent has now spoken out to squash these rumours. Fali Ramadani has denied that Liverpool are willing to sanction a loan move for Chiesa and confirmed his client is going nowhere.
Chiesa moved to Merseyside from Juventus in a deal worth £12m, but has struggled to break into Arne Slot’s side.
His one Premier League appearance came back in September when he came on as a second-half substitute.
He has made just four total appearances in all competitions, most recently playing in Liverpool’s 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Southampton in December.

But despite clearly struggling for game time, Chiesa appears to be staying put – for now at least.
The player’s representatives told Egyptian publication 365scores that their man will stay at the club for the remainder of the season, as League leaders Liverpool chase the Premier League title.
Ramadani said: “Napoli did not negotiate a contract with Chiesa from Liverpool in the winter period, and the club has no intention of dispensing with the player.
“The player is continuing with Liverpool and is seeking the opportunity to participate in the coming period. This is what I can confirm now.”
Chiesa was back involved with Liverpool’s match-day squad at the weekend. Having missed the previous three games with fitness troubles, he was an unused substitute for Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Manchester United.
Liverpool are back in Carabao Cup action on Wednesday, facing Tottenham in the first leg of the semi-final.
Having played in the last round, Chiesa could be in line to feature again in midweek.
