Everton Vs Man United Highlights As Red Devils Survive Late Penalty Scare In Goodison Thriller

Watch the Everton vs Man United highlights as the Red Devils fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Goodison Park.
Everton Vs Man United Highlights
Second-half goals from Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte salvaged an unlikely point for Man United as they drew 2-2 with Everton in the early kick-off.
Ruben Amorim’s men looked destined for another Premier League defeat after Beto and Abdoulaye Doucoure gave the Toffees a commanding lead at the interval.
The Portuguese gaffer clearly roused his troops during the half-time team talk. Whatever was said paid dividends as the Red Devils left Merseyside with a share of the spoils.
On what was the last ever meeting at Goodison Park, the Blues looked in complete control after 33 minutes. Portuguese forward Beto continued his fine scoring streak when he volleyed in the opener.
The 27-year-old has now scored five top-flight goals in his last four games. Before David Moyes’ arrival, he had only netted once in England’s elite in 2024/25.

On his return from suspension, Doucoure doubled the advantage just after the half hour mark when he nodded home after Andre Onana failed to properly push away Jack Harrison’s effort.
With just under 20 minutes to go, United began to rally. Fernandes saw his swerving free-kick evade Jordan Pickford to get the Reds on the scoresheet. Interestingly, it was their first effort on target.
Uruguayan international Ugarte turned the game on its head when he lashed home the equaliser with his weaker left foot. From then on, it looked like Amorim’s side would complete a stunning turn around.
However, the talking point of the match occurred in the third minute of stoppage time. Referee Andy Madley pointed to the spot after Ashley Young appeared to be hauled down by Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire.
Subsequently, VAR Matt Donohue issued Madley to go over and revise his original decision via the pitchside monitor. After watching back, Madley decided not to award Moyes’s men the opportunity to score from 12 yards.
