England midfielder Declan Rice is worth more than the ENTIRE Albania squad combined ahead of Friday’s World Cup qualifying clash at Wembley, our squad values comparison has revealed.

Thomas Tuchel will lead his England side out for the first time when they take on Albania at Wembley Stadium on Friday evening, where they’ll be looking to get off to a strong start in World Cup qualifying.

The German was announced as the new manager in October following the departure of Gareth Southgate last summer.

Paul Carsley took on the role in an interim capacity, leading the Three Lions to a first-place finish in their Nations League group after recording five victories and a loss, and he has since returned to his role with the under-21s.

Ahead of Tuchel’s maiden fixture against a tricky Albanian side, who gave a good of themselves at the European Championship in despite a group stage exit, we’ve taken a look at the squad values of both sides.

Unsurprisingly, England’s squad is worth far more than that of the Red and Blacks, with the Three Lions’ total value suring the £1 billion mark. That’s without the likes of injured duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Cole Palmer.

In fact, Declan Rice himself is valued over £10m more than the entire Albanian squad combined, while Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham tops the list as the most expensive player across both sets of squads.

Given the disparity in value, it won’t come as a shock to many to learn that Harry Kane and co. are heavily favoured by the UK’s best football betting sites at around 1/7 to come out on top. The visitors are priced at around 16/1.

Read on as we take a closer look at the England vs Albania squad values as the pair meet in the English capital on Friday.
