The latest Dwight McNeil and Jarrad Branthwaite injury update confirms that both stars will be available for Everton’s clash with Brentford on Saturday.

Boss Sean Dyche was speaking to the press in the build-up to the Premier League fixture and the news bodes very well for Toffees ers.

In recent weeks, Dyche’s side has struggled on the pitch. Their last win came on GW8 when Iliman Ndiaye and Michael Keane netted in a 2-0 win at Ipswich Town. Interestingly, they’ve lost just once in their last seven.

As it stands, the Blues are just three points off the drop zone and currently occupy 16th position. However, confidence will be boosted around Goodison Park ahead of the visit of the Bees.

Dwight McNeil And Jarrad Branthwaite Injury Update

Winger Dwight McNeil missed the 0-0 draw with West Ham before the international break with a knee problem. A Jarrad Branthwaite injury concern meant the defender had to withdraw from the England squad.

The 22-year-old has only completed a full 90 minutes on two occasions in the Premier League this season. However, he did play the whole match against the Hammers last time out.

His removal from the Three Lions set up was understood to be more precautionary than anything. Therefore, the defender is primed to feature against Brentford.

Meanwhile, Sean Dyche explained to reporters that McNeil has looked sharp in training this week. The 25-year-old has four goals and three assists in all competitions this season.

Dwight’s had a really good week training,” Dyche said during Thursday’s press conference. “Jarrad trained today after settling things down, so we’ll see how he responds. We’re hopeful on that but he should be ok.”

The signs are certainly looking good for the duo who will be vital for Everton this season. McNeil has arguably been the club’s best player and Branthwaite has a glittering future ahead of him.

Ahead of Saturday’s clash, the best football betting sites in the UK make Dyche’s side the 6/4 favourites. The draw is available at 5/2 and the Bees can be backed at 21/10.
