Rumours from the MMA world are circulating that UFC 320 could well be headlined by Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev for the UFC Middleweight Title in Abu Dhabi.

Although it hasn’t yet been confirmed when UFC 320 will actually take place, rumours are circulating already that it could be headlined by Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev.

Abu Dhabi looks like it could be the destination for UFC 320 if the latest rumours are believed, with October the likely time of year for this epic UFC Middleweight Title showdown to go ahead.

Although unconfirmed, it seems that UFC President Dana White has got the cogs turning on this mouth-watering 185-pound match-up for the Abu Dhabi desert this autumn.

One reason rumours of du Plessis vs Chimaev is gathering momentum for a UFC 320 main event is due to the fact that Khamzat Chimaev is unable to fight in the United States, hence why the UFC are planning on heading to the Middle East in October.

The champion, Sean Strickland in their rematch for the UFC Middleweight Title at UFC 312. The South African looks almost unbeatable at the minute, but so does Chimaev which makes this such an intriguing match-up.

Robert Whittaker in Round 1 of their UFC 308 battle. Since then, MMA fans have been calling for this match-up.

If the UFC 320 rumours are true and du Plessis vs Chimaev does get confirmed as the main event in Abu Dhabi in October, fans are in for a treat.

With Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev being targeted for UFC 320 in Abu Dhabi, some fans may be intrigued by the betting lines already, despite the event not being officially announced yet and around eight months away in prospect.

That being said, it is likely that the best UFC betting sites list Khamzat Chimaev as a slight favourite to beat Dricus du Plessis if the pair do meet at UFC 320 this October.
