According to reports, Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev has been OFICIALLY SIGNED for UFC 317 in International Fight Week.

According to Ruben Carter, a reputable MMA journalist with inside scoop on the UFC, Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev has been officially signed for UFC 317.

Although UFC President Dana White has officially revealed a date and venue for the blockbuster card, as of today there have still be no fights confirmed for the event.

There have been various UFC 317 rumours circulating on social media, including Charles Oliveira vs Ilia Topuria and some other fights too.

However, as of today none have been made official. This remains the case but it is now being reported that Khamzat Chimaev at the T-Mobile Arena on June 28th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC 317 takes place in International Fight Week, with du Plessis vs Chimaev a possible main event for the pay-per-view card. If these rumours are true and the fight is officially signed, it may well be the main event.

However, if Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall gets made in the interim, it will definitely be the main event with du Plessis vs Chimaev likely to be the co-main event.

It had been previously reported by the same source that Dricus du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev was being targeted for UFC 320 in Abu Dhabi.

However, that is obviously fake news now if this latest news is correct that the UFC Middleweight Title bout is signed and sealed for UFC 317 in International Fight Week this summer.

An official announcement from Khamzat Chimaev, Dricus du Plessis or UFC President Dana White himself hasn’t been made.

If the fight is signed and if it will feature as the main or co-main event at UFC 317 in International Fight Week, rest assured it will be officially announced by the UFC themselves in the coming days or weeks.
